Approval of Expulsion Recognition from South Madison Community, School Corporation, Indiana Public Schools, Sarasota County Expulsion Case No. 10-144.  Florida Statute 230.23(6)© 2 gives the School Board as a receiving school district, the authority to honor the final order of expulsion of a student by another School Board.  School Board Policy 5.34(4) permits the School Board to hold in abeyance, the expulsion of a student if the student participates in a recognized alternative-to-expulsion program.  This student is being placed in a Virtual School/Home School program.

That the expulsion of the student Expulsion Corporation Case No. 10-144 from South Madison Community School, Indiana, be honored and held in abeyance per School board Policy 5.34(4) and (5).
